The Asymmetric Hem Trend Is Everywhere Right Now Leave a comment

If there’s one clothing detail I find myself gravitating toward over and over again, it’s an asymmetrical hem. Even the simplest dress, skirt, or top feels more interesting when it’s asymmetric. Since I tend to love basics, it’s an easy way to make everyday pieces feel a bit more unique.

Personally, I love a one-shoulder top or a skirt or dress with an off-kilter cut—like the Gabriel Dress from Geel, the Kesha Dress from With Jéan, and the Annette Tee Skirt Set from Free People. I also have the Aurora Halter Dress from Campbell & Kramer and the Hailey Off-Shoulder Dress from Démodémodé, both of which I love. I’ve even had J.Crew‘s Cashmere-Wool Blend Poncho on my wish list since last spring.
